Bite-offs are a constant worry that all pike anglers face, but fortunately there is an answer! Whilst most companies offer just a single uptrace, we at PikePro decided to think differently and have developed uptraces to cover 90% of all pike fishing situations. Now there is no need to compromise any more on your rig efficiency!
Our Legered Bait Uptrace incorporates our Anti-tangle boom and Run ring, and is constructed from 40lb seven-strand wire. This design ensures maximum strength, significantly reduces tangles and eliminates damage to the hook trace caused by heavy leads.
In the interests of pike safety we urge all forward thinking anglers to incorperate an uptrace in their rig.
Usage
Clip your chosen lead to the Run Ring and slide this onto the uptrace. Tie the uptrace to the end of your main line and then clip your chosen hook trace to the end of the uptrace. You are now ready to cast out.
