With features and performance unlike other reels in this price bracket, they feature full metallic internal gearing instead of cheap nylon internals. They also come with 3+1 ball bearings overall, giving them a surprisingly smooth action when you crank the handle. Ready to fish out of the box, they even come pre spooled ready to go with quality 8lb mono mainline!
